Goldener Hahn in Lippstadt

We ordered and picked up our Christmas dinner for the office during the Corona period. The patience with the order as well as the help with the pickup were just as lovely & great as the food itself was delicious. A great experience!

Good service but got rather crowded so didn't stay long needed stricter social distancing .

A restaurant with always delicious dishes. The waitress is very familiar with the food and is happy to describe the composition of the individual dishes on the menu in detail. I'm just afraid that there is always a lot of meat from animals raised in poor farming conditions, but of course I would be happy if I am wrong on this point. Apart from that, I have a good impression of the restaurant, the chef knows his job.

The food was really delicious.

Good home cooking at top prices. The food was fantastic. The goulash soup as a starter is highly recommended. The sauces are only cooked after ordering and are super fresh and delicious. The beer is a dream. As a Cologne native, I'm used to good brewery cuisine and haven't missed anything here. If you want to eat in the center of Lippstadt, you should definitely stop here.

Very quaint, authentic old inn from 1566. Nice service. There was nothing to complain about about the food. Waiting time was rather short. As one of the few restaurants in Lippstadt, it is also open on Mondays.

We were on a short trip to Lippstadt and had dinner at the Goldener Hahn. Very good food, reasonable prices and very friendly and courteous service. Can I recommend it without reservation

A quaint pub with very friendly service and great food. If you like steak, don't let anything tell you in Argentine steakhouses that the meat matures when it is shipped. Good local meat well hung is the best. There is no soup and pure taste. And if a chef like this cooks it to the point you want it to be, it's a poem. All thumbs up.

Great food and beer

We were hosted here with our group that we were touring with for work. Great old style German pub. Great food and fantastic service. Was probably our favourite pub in all our German travels.

We were there for dinner. The service was very nice and the food was delicious. We had kassler with sauerkraut and fried potatoes. We had a dark country beer which was very good. All in all, I can recommend the Golden Rooster. I'll definitely come here again.

Wonderful restaurant

I had been this restaurant with my company kollege when I was during Germany business trip. Interior was very old and I ate Champignon Schnitzel. It was very delicious and VELTINS beer was good. If I have a chance to visot LippStadt, I will spend launch or dinner time here again.
